Asus RT-N11, create up to four wireless networks

With most wireless routers are used to define little more than the network name that we use, security and begin to use them. But if we give access to someone, for example, if a friend comes home, this is not the safest solution.

To this end, the Asus RT-N11 allows the creation of up to four areas, namely, four subnets, each with a corresponding name, and in which we can define what kind of security we want and the width of banda that offer.

This allows us to, for example, connect all our computers in one of the sub, using WPA2 with a strong password and ancho de banda unlimited, while also offering another subnet, without using passwords to connect with a width of banda limited, so that we do not saturate ours.

The options are several, but the improvement in security if we share the wireless network is clear. The RT-Asus N11 is compatible with the preliminary version of 802.11n, offering higher speed and coverage, in addition to incorporate mime, which also increases their performance.

We forgot to comment on the Asus RT-N11 has a WAN connection, ie is a router for ADSL and not separate from this. It is on sale for 81.20 euros.
